5 Strategies To Be A Booze Free Socialite

Are you trying to take better care of yourself, lose that excess weight, cleanse your body, clear up your skin, prevent pre-mature again, take the toxic burden off your liver and look after your gut health??? Consider becoming a booze free socialite - here's how: 

*CONFIDENCE: It is possible to be the life of the party without alcohol, just be confident in yourself and let your naturally vibrant personality shine. Stand tall, smile and make interesting conversation. After all, it’s these qualities that people will remember you by!    

*H2O: My personal cocktail of choice is sparking mineral water. Here’s the secret to making it special: ask the bartender to make it look like a real cocktail by adding some zesty citrus, serving it in the fanciest of glasses and dressing it up with pretty garnishes such as mint leaves, a piece of fruit or a cucumber slice. Trust me, people won’t even know the difference and will totally want what you’re having! 

*Take bubbly kombucha or sparkling mineral water to house parties, barbeques and picnics instead of alcohol. Kombucha gives you energy with its naturally occurring B vitamin content and it has great flavor. By enjoying these healthier beverages, it makes you feel like you are drinking something special without compromising your health. 

*Focus on the company, ambience and food instead of the drinking. I am a big time foodie, so when I go out for dinner to a nice restaurant with friends, I feel satisfied by simply being in the presence of good people in a lovely setting and enjoying a tasty meal.   

*Go in with a game plan… Don’t be on the fence about whether you are going to drink or not. If you are not sure you will! If you decide not to, make peace with this decision and stand by it. If you are going to drink, make peace with how much you want to drink… maybe you can savor 1 really good glass of wine over dinner instead of having 2 or 3 unnecessarily.  

Most of all, have fun and enjoy your social life - it doesn't need to be put on hold just because your are giving your body a much needed booze break!
