10 Healthy Date Ideas To Enjoy With Your Girlfriends

Catching up with your girlfriends doesn’t always need to revolve around happy hour cocktails, a bottle of wine, or indulgent dinners (of course that’s totally fine in moderation and fun for special occasions). There are healthier ways to catch up on all the latest news with your gorgeous gal pals, here are some of my personal favorite date ideas: 

*Go for a hike, or as I like to call it “a walk and talk”. By doing this, you are getting a workout in for the day, while spending quality time with your bestie and enjoying nature all at the same time. 

*Catch up for a relaxing cup of herbal tea, or go for a green juice to unwind and cleanse while exchanging stories and hot gossip

*Cook a nourishing meal together that energizes your bodies and allows you to glow together from the inside out. Try an exciting new recipe or go for a quick and easy old time favorite - it doesn't need to be fancy - all it needs is a pinch of LOVE!

*Go for a day drive out in the countryside to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and soak up the fresh air - play some fun tunes on the way to sing along to

*On a nice, warm and sunny day, pack a nutritious picnic to nibble on in your favorite park and enjoy the scenery (great for people watching too)

*Camp under the stars… even if it’s just in your own backyard - "glamping" may be more your style and that's totally fine too. Snuggle up together and enjoy the peace and quiet of the nighttime.     

*Treat yourselves to a day at the spa, lounging around in fresh white robes, sipping on cups of delicious goodness and pampering yourself with relaxing treatments  

*Have a sleep over like the good old days… popcorn, movies, late night gossiping, and colorful pajamas all included 

*Get creative, arty and crafty... these days, there are so many specialty classes and fun activities to join in on out there... how about a beautiful floral arrangement class with a group of your nearest and dearest 

*Go to the farmer’s market together to get your weekly food shopping done in a fun way - it's a great way to connect with your friend and your local food source
